When I see a person, I think:
Appearance: white-black old-young tough-kind male-female facial expressions.
These are “cover judging” natural tendencies, and you cannot tell so much about a person by how they look so much as you can tell how they are perceived by others at first glance and therefore might react to such a stereotyping of themselves. You can often tell how they are used to being judged by their permanent appearance.
In speaking to a person you get to know them better, not as much from the content of their speech as in their manner of speech and interaction. Often, an introverted person will have a high Intelligence, but a low Relational Intelligence. They may not recognize social cues and are therefore unaware of people's perception of them and the things they say or do. They may unintentionally offend others or say things which are normally perceived as boorish and blunt. This is especially true in Western cultures. In Eastern cultures it is almost unheard of for a person to be inactive in the intricate art of confucian self-awareness.
In the west, many are encouraged to view the world from an individual standpoint and therefore often choose to forget about how others may view the things that they say or do. A recognition of this can help in approaching abrasive people, who often tend to be leaders with a high organizational and/or missional drive and intelligence, but a low relational drive/intelligence.
You cannot judge a person by mere cordiality. Often people with the highest intelligence will abuse their gifting for purposes of manipulation. There are two main cases of this: the driven psychotic leader (the prime example would be Mao Tse-Tung), and the schmoozing businessman or salesman. The former has a high organizational intelligence. The latter has a high relational intelligence, and is adept at winning people's trust. The one with a high organizational intelligence will resort to using threats and excessive generosity to get people to follow him, because he lacks a normal relational awareness and is therefore often paranoid. The latter knows what people want to hear and who they want him to be, and he plays the part to get them on his side. He may practice saying things in front of a mirror or on camera, becoming aware of the sound of his own voice and what words are capable of winning people over. He knows what people want.
A combination of these two types of intelligence is lethal.
There is a third: the type who is highly intelligent or knowledgeable in certain realms of thinking, such as spirituality, philosophy, or science. This person will use their credentials to win people over or to bully them. They often have a form of charisma which is not easily explained in terms of relational or organizational skill. It is mainly spiritual, and may have to do with the superego.
A person's face betrays their sense of humor, what makes them tick, etc. If they laugh when misfortune befalls someone, they have bad qi. If someone has a certain sense of humor it usually shows which culture they come from. You can tell where in the world you are by the foliage, weather, etc., and you can tell where a person is from by a number of things. Sure, everybody from one place and one culture is different, but there are often some sure-fire indicators.
How high is a person's integrity? If a person does not have integrity, you really can't trust them. Nobody has perfect integrity, but some people have none. It sucks to encounter a person who is from a culture that doesn't value integrity, and such a culture is rotten.
A culture which values money over wisdom is also bankrupt, and will implode. It does not have a solid core. No culture is perfect, and eventually only the perfect culture will survive. “Race” has very little or nothing to do with it. The Black man may have more of a sexual drive than the Asian man, but they both struggle equally with sin issues, although these might manifest themselves in different ways. This is why diverse genetics complement each other very well. A good culture is a mix of genotypes. These are not separate “races” but diverse branches of the same tree, the same race, the human race. The idea of race is a large waterfall of diarrhea, which has stunk the world up. It is viscous catarrh, I hate it. There is no venom more fatal than hate.
People choose to stereotype and then slap labels, often this is taken to an extreme level which impairs relationships. In Belgium, the dutch had trouble getting along with the french walloons. In South Africa, the united Afrikaans people (a mix of french, dutch, and german) had trouble getting along with the blacks. People will die for their uniting hatred of people who are different, no matter how similar they may be in relation to outside people. But they will instantly drop these (apparently martyrdom-worthy) differences to fight against people who are even more different. White people and black people are about as different as people can get on this earth. And yet we don't realize that we are the same. The ultimate enemy is not other people, it is not flesh and blood, even, it is something much worse than that which is in all of us, and it is what drives us to give our lives up for what is worth less than dogshit. This is the spirit of Antichrist, which denies redemption and destroys hope. Even worse, it gives a false hope (hope in a country, a secondary cause, a belief) for which we give our lives, for which we give all our thoughts, and every ounce of our being. We cry when we do not obtain it and we laugh when we think we have it. But we are left dying and confused. This is the worst of all evils, the denial of redemption, the bowels of Judas, a sick gall of bitterness in the mouth of anyone who denies the resurrection and Godhood of Jesus Christ.
Germanic people are so confused, as were the Jews in their day, when they suppose that they deserve the truth they have been given by merit of their nation's goodness or racial superiority. Israel is not a state on this earth, but a union of God's chosen, which are from every people group and language. Without a cultural, spiritual, and genetic diversity, the kingdom of heaven would be incomplete.
