I am Everyone

Some think that the entirety of creation is merely their own dream. Until you achieve equivalence of form with the creator and have him in your heart, this is only partially true. I could fathom all tongues, receive all gifts, love all people perfectly. But which of these three comes first? There is no glory in knowing all things if you cannot feel as strongly as God does. Where is your love, the bittersweet beating of the shepherd's heart?

Schmerz

What is the limit of physical pain I could feel in this body? There are people who feel no pain, who need no food, whose joy is completely detached and adamant. Nothing on this earth has any value to me. Animals feel acutely that which is physical, they are only dust. The feeling of life leaving is what pain is, the process of death. How could we bear it? The dying agony of any creature is dangerous and spiritually potent. There is something there beside what we can see. Something immense and enormous. What sort of torture is my worst nightmare? There is so much that makes me wince, seeing images of chaos in disaster, buildings burning and people trapped inside, fire singeing the flesh, people harming each other, small animals being hurt. This must make us wince if we have any soul, any connection to life. But does the eternal person, the prophet have a cold disregard for this? Good morning america, it has dawned on me that some steps taken back we can catch a solid view of what the future holds. Retrace where we have come from to see where we will go, that's the pattern of time: it echoes in patterns. And today we are elated at how far we came, and yet are fully aware that we are spiraling out of control. Riots will become commonplace, these petty and peaceful protests in the civilized world will devolve as soon as the integrity of our government is shaken.
